There are several types of corrugated plastic sheets with different features and advantages.
The first and most common is extruded(I-Beam) corrugated plastic sheet.

The extruded corrugated plastic sheet is normally made by PP from 2mm up to 25mm in thickness. It is made by an extrusion process forcing heated resin through a hardened metal die. When the resin is pressed through the die it creates a sheet that has flat surfaces to both sides and an I-beam structure between the two flat surfaces.
The advantages of this type are available in many different thicknesses and can be extruded at variable weights.
The next type is the laminated Sheet.
A laminated corrugated plastic sheet is only available in HDPE. The laminated sheet is made in a very similar way to paper corrugated fiber. It made by two flat sheets on each side with a third wave pattern sheet in the middle. Instead of gluing the sheets together, they are welded together while the resin is hot.
It also can be laminated by a single flat sheet and the wave pattern sheet. The other side of the wave pattern is exposed.A single face laminated sheet can be rolled and is much more pliable than the standard version.

The third type of Corrugated Plastic is the honeycomb sheet.
Available in PP and comes in multiple thicknesses. It has two flat surfaces with either a honeycomb type pattern in the middle. Although more expensive than the other two types, it has some performance advantages in particular applications, such as better rigidity in both directions, incredibly flat on the sides.

Corrugated plastic is a perfect replacement when the packaging isreusable or needed to be used in bad weather conditions and harshenvironments. It is also archive safe and does not contaminate the environment like paper dust.It is also economy effective and space-saving when compared to molded plastic products or thermal formed products.
